When I was a schoolgirl, I went on holidays to Czech Republic together with my mother. We went there to visit a friend of hers who promised us an unforgettable vacation. As my mother didn’t want to stay at her place, we rented a nice apartment. It appeared it was very easy to find holiday accommodation in Czechia . Besides, it was not very expensive in comparison with Belgium for instance. When we came to Czech Republic, we went on various excursions almost every day. First of all we went to Prague where we visited various museums. We also the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. The last I liked a lot. I imagined myself a nice pretty princess who lived there once. Then we went to Bohemia where we also liked a lot. The nature there was really beautiful and exciting. I don’t remember how it was called, but we visited one of the Czech National parks. It was a real pleasure to take a tour around the park as I have never seen such a natural beauty before. On the whole we had a great time in Czech republic and I think that some day I will come here again.

I should admit that Lithuania is a wonderful country for a vacation on the nature. And I was convinced of this when I went on holidays to the region of Dzūkija, where the Dzūkija National Park is located. I spent there a wonderful quiet and relaxing vacation. As I went on holidays in Lithuania late in July, I enjoyed gathering mushrooms and berries there. Forest berries are wholesome for health and then I enjoyed this activity. Besides, it was an excellent opportunity to get to know the local flora and fauna. There are many wild and rare plants in the Dzūkija National Park that impress everyone with their beauty. In the region of Dzūkija I rented a small house on the lake. So, in the evenings I liked to enjoy wonderful sunsets. The only thing that bothered me on holidays in Lithuania, were mosquitoes. As a rule they live by the water, so I had to use gel that protected me from them. In any case, mosquitoes didn’t bother my vacation in Lithuania, so I backed home refreshed and full of energy.

Oh, Liguria… What a wonderful Italian region. I have never been to there before but I do not regret that I traveled there last month. I went to the Gulf of Genoa to watch the whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. I like all the animals, so the whale-watching was a real experience for me. Also being on holidays in Liguria, I didn’t miss my chance to taste its wine. In Liguria people make very delicious wine which is almost impossible to buy elsewhere in the world. I especially liked the white wine Vermentino that was very delicious and fit all the dishes I tasted in Liguria. I also didn’t have any difficulties with accommodation in Liguria . There are a lot of various offers of apartments, cottages and vacation homes here. But if you like good service and do not like taking care of food, then you can stay at a hotel, like I did. There are many good hotels in Liguria that offer excellent service. Besides, almost all of them have nice restaurants. That is a really great advantage of them.

I thought a lot before I made up my mind to spend the next vacation in Venice. My feelings were rather discrepant as I also thought of going to France but eventually I chose Venice. I went to Venice region because I heard that the holiday homes and apartments in Venice are not so expensive in comparison with the prices for accommodation in France. That was the main reason why I have chosen the Italian region of Venice. I have never booked accommodation on-line but this time I decided to do it. I found a nice apartment in Albano Terme. I decided to go there because there are many thermal sources in this city. They are very old as even the ancient Romans used them as a spa. Hot water from these springs does much good for the health. Beside the hot springs Albano Terme is also rich in various historical sites. I should also admit that the nature of the city and its surrounding is really stunning. Every morning I rode on the bicycle that I also rented along the surrounding of Albano Terme. When it was time to leave Venice, I was really sad. I liked Albano Terme a lot and I want to repeat my vacation in Venice Region again. But the next time I will visit the city of Venice. It also must be a great experience!

Traveling is the best way to discover this world, get to know the history of different countries and understand their cultures. So, one day I decided to go on a tour to England. I have always wanted to visit it but my main problem was where to stay. The offers by tour operators were too expensive for me. I decided that it would be much better to go there on my own. A friend of mine advised me to search for the accommodation on the internet. She told me that it would be much easier and more convenient than to go to the tourist agency. Besides, it is much cheaper. So I followed her advice. That morning I started searching on the internet and soon I found much information about the destination I wanted to go to. There were many offers of cottages and apartments on the internet that were really excellent and tempting but I decided that it would be better to stay at a small and quiet town not far from London. I rented a small but very cozy apartment that had all the modern conveniences. When I came there, I was satisfied with everything I saw. The landlord was very friendly. The apartment was very neat and it was situated in a very picturesque place. The nature in the region was really marvelous. So I came back home refreshed and happy. Besides, I understood that England is not so conservative as they describe it.
